Monin 100 Year Anniversary Celebrations


Monin is a French family business that make syrups for the beverage industry and are known all over the world – whether it be a tangy raspberry to go in your cocktail in your local bar or a subtle drop of vanilla to slip into your latté at Costa Coffee, with over 100 different varieties, there’s a flavour for everyone. Opies are the UK’s distributor of Monin products, so when the 100 year anniversary of Monin came around, they decided to throw a bit of a shindig to celebrate the fantastic achievement.

I was invited along to China Tang at London’s Dorchester Hotel to cover the event and capture the atmosphere as industry bigwigs networked and sampled the delights of the many cocktails (all using Monin syrups, of course) on offer throughout the night. Chefs, food & drink critics, distributors and beverage makers all came out to show their support on the night and all helped make the night the success it deserved to be.
