Floris Grand Opening
For a company to open a shop in these turbulent times is always a risk – even more so for a bespoke perfume company, some might say, but Floris think differently, so when the invite came in the post to visit their new outlet in London’s Belgravia, I grabbed my camera and went along to find out more.
Joined by the editorial team from Generation magazine we headed along to their plush new boutique at 147 Ebury Street where we were greeted by the family behind the business (and some lovely champagne!) and given a tour of their premises. Perfume has been the family business since they opened their first shop at 89 Jermyn Street, London (still their flagship store today!) way back in 1730. They have such an amazing history and a great archive of sales ledgers dating back to the early 19th century, which gives a real insight in to their clientele that includes Royalty from then until now – allowing them to maintain their Royal Warrant holder status.
